  • New Amsterdam

Ok, so I know this is not saving whales, but I like stories, and I happen to like stories in the form of television, if they are told well.

I just finished watching all of the episodes of the season for New Amsterdam, and then I read a post about it being canceled. I was furious. I really loved every episode! Maybe the writers of the show could continue it in book form. I would buy them and read them if that was all I could have to continue the story. But, I am also going to state my complaint for the senseless killing of a great story, and I am posting a link to a site which gives all possible contacts to protest the ending of the show.

If you haven't seen the show, you can watch it on hulu.com

here is the site with the protest addresses:

  • We are inclined to believe those whom we do not know because they have never deceived us.
    --Samuel Johnson

This is a scary thought. Are we all prone to deception? floridasunset

  • prophetanddwarf going through old photos. here's to you, prophet and dwarf!
  • i have moved dwellings 21 times so far in my life. here are two of them, on different contintnets. i wonder if 21 would be considered a large statistical number, average, or small in comparrisson to the world's current nomadic tendencies. i also wonder what sort of effect it has on physical, emotionall and mental health. i wonder if moving a lot is more natural to our bodies, in reference to historical gene evolution. i suppose partly it is, except for all of the super time consuming permanent dwellings we leave behind after we move.2dwellings
